Called Scanpan after spending $500.00 on a set of plans because when I touch the pans they turn my hands black. They told me it was not under warranty because it was my dish washing detergent that damaged the out side of my pans. I was using "Cascade Platinum" bleach...

So far I am returning my 4th scan pan for coating issues! We use coated utensils while cooking with moderate heat and do not use anything abrasive when cleaning. I must say that these pots and pans performance along with the very convincing sales pitch is over...

This guy Glenn is an ***. PTFE is stable and non-toxic; however, it is not intended to be heated above 500 F. RTFM. PFOA is a carcinogen and the product is PFOA free.
